So excited to see my box came early- at least earlier than last month. AND it is true- the best things do come in small packages! BBSS never ceases to amaze me. You really can’t get much better for $15/month- deluxe sized samples with the occasional FULL size, a $15 coupon for any BRAND in this box, not just the exact product. Here is my box this month-

Very pleased to see 2 extra deluxe size samples – cellCeuticals and AHAVA – especially these products, as they are pretty pricey AND amazing.
cellCeuticals Extremely Gentle Cleanser – “As the name suggests, this super gentle daily cleanser hydrates skin while removing makeup and impurities. A must have for sensitive complexions.” There really isn’t a single person that couldn’t LOVE this product. The description above says it all, and honestly I think this size could be good for a month. Crazy!
AHAVA Purifying Mud Mask – “The pamper worthy mask – infused with minerals harvested straight from the Dead Sea – works overtime to leave your skin smooth, supple and radiant.” I used this right after the cellCeuticals. It suggests leaving on your skin for 2 minutes, then rinsing, however I left it on for about 20. It doesn’t chunk like regular masks and it dries nicely – you can’t really see that its on your face and it doesn’t crack when you move your face. My face right now feels like heaven, so soft. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Jane Iredale Purelash Lash Conditioner – “Strengthen, lengthen and thicken lashes in one coat with the nourishing formula, perfect for pre-mascara application.” LOVE this. It applies so nicely in ONE coat, just as it says. I was happy to see this brand again, after last month I got a super orange self tanning product that smelled nicely, but just…no thanks. I applied this after my cleanser and mask, it’s on my lashes now. It goes on white, however dries clear, which I love for those au naturale days. Hopefully it won’t make my mascara look chunky, we’ll see!
Dr. T’s Supergoop! City Sunscreen Serum SPF 30 – “Layer it on and get out: Dr. T’s much-loved sunscreen protects skin and moisturizes on contact, without the thick, greasy and – yup – goopy feel.” The product description says it all! This is THE PERFECT moisturizer. Last month, BBSS sent me a Dr. T’s eye cream, which I have a slight obsession with now, and did end up ordering the full size. Now that I have this, I think I trust in Dr. T’s to complete my preventive skincare products collection. A DEFINITE MUST HAVE.
Korres Cherry Oil Lip Gloss, 33 Natural – “Meet your new wear everywhere neutral. The high shine formula smoothes and hydrates lips, and the flattering hue transitions effortlessly into fall.” The color is perfect- while it is neutral, it is so far from anyone’s skin tone that it won’t be overlooked! It’s so smooth that I can’t stop rubbing my lips together, it smells DELICIOUS like cherries and while it’s glossy, it is anything but sticky! (I typically stay away from glosses just because I can’t stand when my hair will kind of stick to it, then drag it across my face! (you ladies know what I’m talking about!) This one – so far – doesn’t seem like it’ll do that. I have NO complaints with this product, however the box is a little deceiving. It looks like you’re getting a nice size, when really you open it and the lid is 3/4 of the bottle. Not complaining though, it is just a sample after all. :)

Summer Scents 101 – Don’t Douse Yourself – Peoples sense of smell is heightened in the summer, says Allen R. Hirsh, director of The Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation. Experts theorize that either the nerve receptors in the nose are more sensitive, or that odor molecules spread out farther when the temperature rises.
Five Brow Grooming Tricks – Tweeze right after you shower, when your skin is soft and the hairs slide out more easily. If plucking still hurts, use your finger to gently pull the skin taut before tweezing.
A Better Pedicure – Dry Faster. Plunge freshly painted toes into a bowl of ice-cold water for a minute. Not a polar bear? Switch your blowdryer to the cold setting, hold it about 12 inches away from your nails, and let ‘er rip for a few minutes. (Too much warm or hot air can make polish expand and hasten chipping.)
The Dermatologists’ Guide to Soothing a Sunburn – Before applying makeup, mix a pea sized dab of 1 percent hydrocortisone cream with moisturizer to soothe skin. (This would have been a great tip in a pre-summer box, right!?)
